EmakumeApp

EmakumeApp is an application created from a project based on feminism, on gender equality. Behind this project, there is a collaboration between students from the Faculty of Engineering of Bilbao and students from the Faculty of Education of Bilbao, both from the Public University of the Basque Country.

In our case, we have focused on visualising some of the many important women in different fields, as well as in art, science and sport. Nowadays, more and more women are known in all fields, but we believe that they are still not sufficiently known. Therefore, we have taken this opportunity to create an app to contribute to this cause.

The application is divided into three main themes: science, sport and art. Within each of the themes, there is the option to play different mini-games, such as word search, matching images with people, etc. But there is also the option of playing in random mode, in which ten questions appear, one at a time, from the three themes at random.

To use the EmakumeApp there is no subscription charge; however, it is necessary to log in with an email address and password. In this way, the points obtained will be recorded.
