Existimos

To begin with, Existim♀s is an application in Spanish that aims to give visibility to women in minorised sports. The main objective is to make women stand out in sport, as it is generally men who are given more importance in the sporting world. And we also want to make people aware that sports have no gender, that is, anyone can do any sport they want.

In this case, the women observed are Ainhoa Hernández who plays handball, Ane Santesteban who is a cyclist, Agurtzane Egiluz a Paralympic basketball player and Raquel Mateo a Paralympic triathlete.

In the app, small informative videos have been designed around the above mentioned sportswomen. In these videos, different important aspects about the lives of these women are taken into account, that is, their date and place of birth, why they have excelled in their respective sports and their most outstanding achievements.

In this way, the videos introduce the users to obtain relevant information for carrying out the mini-games set out in the APP. In this way, they will be able to self-evaluate the videos of each athlete. The application has three mini-games. In the first game, users must answer the question or write the word that corresponds to the definition given, taking into account the letters offered. The second game consists of the four names of the sportswomen and four phrases that each one has said, so the activity consists of identifying and matching each sportswoman with her corresponding phrase. Finally, in the third game, a part of an image is observed and the users must guess who it is and if they do not know who it is from the first part of the image, they will see another part of the image until they recognise the sportswoman.

Finally, it is worth mentioning that Existim♀s application is aimed at all audiences, that is to say, at all those people who are interested in women in the world of sport. That is why the games are adapted and are simple so that all users can play them.
